Arnoriaga investigates the space across dialectics of the balance and of the order that opens way to the spontaneous gesture.
Mud and wood form his vocabulary. Broken dark stone of rounded edges, with patina of time, of probable fires. Mud with roughness and fingerprints of the hands of the artist. Volumes of humanity that gravitate with the whole weight of the world in gesture of abandoned hope. Any work has previous or contemporary influences because it is the result of ones development.
I leave for the specialists to investigate the possible lines of force that determine the paintings and Vicente Arnoriaga's sculpture. For my part I believe that it is one of these few cases of coherence in which the artist and his work are fully identified.
It is his style, without worries of originality. His art is a consequence of all of the circumstances that form his personality.
