Luis Martin Duque - an artist who likes to sail on different styles.
His sculpture makes itself present, gains protagonism and becomes accessible for the spectator. It is his handiness and skill for modelling which attracts us, and it is the movement, so masterly captured, which provides liveness and balance to his creations.
The artist achieves to compose, by means of stylising the drawing and the volume, a work with great plastic beauty. He's been inspired by many contemporary artists like Alberto Giacometti, Edgar Degas, Joan Miro and of course Auguste Rodin.
